Below you will find information about me and my Practice
Like many who live in Los Angeles, I am a transplant. I was born and raised in New England, lived 6 years in the midwest, and then recently moved to California where I started my private practice.
I have worked in the mental health field in many different forms for the last 10 years. Before working in private practice, I worked in a variety of agency settings providing individual therapy, group therapy, couple therapy, crisis intervention, and community based-trainings.
I have extensive experience working with trauma, crisis, depression, anxiety, and grief counseling. My experiences working various different settings have given me a wide array of exposure to assisting individuals with various needs.
About My Practice
I primarily work with adults, ranging from ages 18 to the elderly. I have experience working with diverse populations suffering from a wide range of issues.
Therapy sessions are 45-50 minutes long.
I am not currently accepting insurance. If you are interested in using your insurance there are things to keep in mind; Your insurance can limit the amount of sessions, you might have a high-deductible to pay, it may dictate the services therapist provide, and they require a diagnosis that will be part of your permanent medical record.
Hours include morning and afternoon, and weekends. Please contact for more information on open counseling times.
I charge $160 per session and an income-based sliding scale is available upon request. Payment is due at the time of service. I accept cash, check, and credit card. You may keep a credit card on file, to be billed after every appointment, by downloading the 'Authorization Form’ form found by clicking HERE.
During the initial session, we will discuss policies of my practice, what brought you to counseling, and we will begin setting goals for therapy together. Intake paperwork is required for the first sessions. The intake paperwork can be found by clicking HERE. If you are unable to download, print or complete these documents, please let me know so we can arrange for them to be filled out at the office prior to our first appointment.
How To Get Started
Before scheduling a therapy session I would like to talk briefly over the phone. This free phone consultation will give you the chance to ask questions and get more information about me and my practice. During this conversation we will be able to schedule your first therapy session.
